Morning all
I have been working with Ian Harvey and others to become a credentialed ToKo Wax Technician for the 2010-11 season and beyond…so my first requirement was to take part in the ToKo Wax conference at West Yellowstone MT. this week.
I flew back yesterday and what an experience it was. Ian Harvey coordinated the event with ToKo’s president and wax chemist presenting on the latest innovations in both wax and its application. Waxing steps, procedures and right combinations of wax were covered as well as getting the basics right…I learned so much with so many world class skiers, biathletes, coaches, officials and wax technicians gathered in a wonderful MT town.
I skied on great snow stopping in to see Marc Shepard at his gunshop on Madison Ave. Marc stated that the biathlon venue will undergo major revisions for next year including new targets, target roof and improved shooting ramp.
So just as I am available to provide Level I biathlon official clinics, I am also available to provide customized waxing clinic to biathlon clubs and groups throughout upstate NY…from WNY to LP, to OF or Saratoga…I am happy to present.
ToKo’s list of sponsored Olympic and world champions is impressive with a system that is simple to select and apply, yet unmatched in the industry.
