Just a reminder that if you are interested in participating in the second Junior Development biathlon clinic, it will take place on Saturday, June 13th, at McCauley Mountain in Old Forge, New York. If you are between the ages of 14 and 19, want to work on your skills and technique get in touch with Carl Klossner at c_klossner@hotmail.com. to register. Head instructor for the day will be Art Stegen, US Olympic Biathlete, US Olympic Biathlon Coach, Director of the National Guard Biathlon Team and NYS Biathlete. Once the registration reaches capacity the clinic will be closed. Don’t delay, get your name in early!
Also, on Sunday there will be the first summer running biathlon of the season at the same location. It will be a modified pursuit race with four shooting stations, prone; prone; standing; standing; with a one km. running loop. It should be fun day for everyone.
