The snow gods have smiled upon Osceola and it looks like we’ll get our first biathlon of the year in on Saturday, January 16th. The Syracuse club will be holding a sprint event at the Osceola Tug Hill Ski Center. We will be offering a short/flattish course (~5km) for novices with 7.5 km for all other classes. Registration will begin at 8:00, zero at 9:00, safety clinic at 9:15, and start at 10:00. Preregistration is now open online. Entry fee before January 14th at 10pm is $20, novices & youth (<18) $15. Day of race entry will be $25. Remember that if you are not a USBA member there is a $10 ‘member-for-a-day’ insurance fee (Join USBA).
