I’m sorry to have to announce that the Saturday Biathlon Sprint and the Shoot Off scheduled to take place at McCauley Mountain in Old Forge has been cancelled. With only four people registered when online pre-registration closed this evening we decided that it didn’t make sense to try and run the race. We can’t ask people to drive from Syracuse, New Hampshire and Cooperstown to race against themselves. We regret having to do this but felt that it was the only fair thing to do.
We are still hopeful that we will get more people registered for our Sunday Modified Pursuit which kicks off at 11 a.m. Sunday morning. Pre-registration closes at 5 p.m. Friday, August 26th, so go to skireg.com and sign up. Hope to see you on Sunday!
