The good news is that both races are still on but the weather is making things interesting. It looks like Osceola is going to be impacted by Lake Effect overnight so give yourself some extra time to get there. We’ll evaluate the course conditions and make a final decision on the courses in the morning. Currently we’re looking at 5km for novices and 7.5km for all open competitors – women/men/girl/boy. We do not expect to need to cancel but will update later tonight as we monitor the weather as it moves in and the forecast.
Old Forge lost some trails due to the rain/melt so their format and distances will also be a race day decision. They may be limited to a shorter course or change to a sprint format. We’ll do our best to give you the best & safest races possible.
