Mt. VanHo provided another solid day for biathlon with 14 teams competing in a relay event. The two boy groups showed how it was done leading the way in 1st & 2nd even shooting small prone targets. The open group was led by the team of Zac Weller, Helene Thomas & Scott Thomas. Silver went to Eli Walker, JJ Valera, and Shannon Valera and bronze to Sean Halligan, Art Stegen, and Joe Iwan. It was also a special day for Sean Halligan who learned that you get extra rounds in the relay!! Apparently he’s been shooting clean all these years and never needed them. Thanks to everyone who turned out to compete, the folks at Mt Vanho who set us up with some great trails and especially to all the volunteers and officials for their hard work in making this happen.
