{"id":1149,"date":"2011-12-19T22:12:57","date_gmt":"2011-12-20T03:12:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nybiathlon.org\/blog\/?p=1149"},"modified":"2011-12-19T22:12:57","modified_gmt":"2011-12-20T03:12:57","slug":"registration-open-on-skireg-for-new-years-resolution-day-biathlon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biathlon.nyssranordic.org\/?p=1149","title":{"rendered":"Registration Open on Skireg for New Year&#8217;s Resolution Day Biathlon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Preregistration is now open for the January 1st biathlon at McCauley Mountain in Old Forge, New York.\u00a0 The Polar Bear Biathlon Club is hosting their annual New Year&#8217;s Day race to bring in the new year with a &#8220;bang&#8221;.\u00a0 The race will be a 7.5 km sprint format race.\u00a0 All classes will race the same distance.\u00a0 The registration fee is $15 for all those preregistered through skireg.com\u00a0and $25 for those that register on January 1st.\u00a0 Registration on the day of race will begin at 8:00 a.m. with zero beginning at 9:00 a.m.\u00a0 Race start will be at 10:00 a.m.\u00a0 There will be a novice class for men and women for those that want to give this sport a try.\u00a0 Directions to McCauley Mountain can be found on the Polar Bear website, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.polarbearbiathlon.com\">www.polarbearbiathlon.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For those that plan on attending this year&#8217;s biathlon please check either the Polar Bear website or this website to confirm that the race will go off as scheduled.
