{"id":2079,"date":"2015-05-07T20:23:45","date_gmt":"2015-05-08T00:23:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/biathlon.nyssranordic.org\/?p=2079"},"modified":"2015-05-07T20:24:42","modified_gmt":"2015-05-08T00:24:42","slug":"junior-biathlon-clinic-set-for-53115","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biathlon.nyssranordic.org\/?p=2079","title":{"rendered":"Junior Biathlon Clinic set for 5\/31\/15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The NYSSRA Nordic Biathlon Junior Development Committee is pleased to announce a biathlon shooting clinic for junior skiers this spring.\u00a0 The target audience is strong Nordic skiers between the ages 14-19, but exceptions will be considered on case by case basis.<\/p>\n<p>The first scheduled clinic this year is a FREE one day program dedicated to biathlon shooting at the <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Saratoga Biathlon Club on Sunday May 31<sup>st<\/sup>.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 We will go over proper rifle fit, position, technique &amp; skills training with some light combination training &amp; fun competitions.\u00a0 We are pleased to announce that we will again have Algis Shalna as a special guest instructor!\u00a0 Algis is a USBA developmental coach and an Olympic Biathlon gold medal winner!<\/p>\n<p><strong>**<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Space is limited<\/span> so please send an email to Sean Halligan at <a href=\"mailto:sean@halliganci.com\">sean@halliganci.com<\/a> ASAP<\/strong> if you are interested.\u00a0 Please provide your:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Name &amp; email address &amp; phone number.<\/li>\n<li>Experience levels with Nordic skiing and biathlon.<\/li>\n<li>If you have a biathlon rifle &amp;\/or have access to one you can borrow.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>**Biathlon newcomers should reply ASAP as loner rifles are also limited!\u00a0 If you need a rifle, make sure you tell us if you are left or right handed!\u00a0 Left handed rifles may not be available.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please note that we will only be sending the firm details for the clinic to those people who express an interest in coming, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">so if you are interested you have to let us know<\/span>!<\/p>\n<p>Also, we may be scheduling an additional clinic(s) this summer &amp;\/or fall so keep an eye on the web site.<\/p>\n<p>Sean, Art &amp; Carl.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The NYSSRA Nordic Biathlon Junior Development Committee is pleased to announce a biathlon shooting clinic for junior skiers this spring.\u00a0 The target audience is strong Nordic skiers between the ages 14-19, but exceptions will be considered on case by case basis.
