Biathlon Canada is reporting three new rule changes to the IBU rulebook for the 2015\/16 season. \u00a0Here’s a quick summary:<\/p>\n

7.1.4 –\u00a0Passing and Giving Way
\nAdded – “The competitor on or exiting the penalty loop has the right of way over the competitor entering the penalty loop.”<\/em><\/p>\n

7.3.3 –\u00a0Rifle Repairs, Exchange and Ammunition
\nAdded –\u00a0Competitors are permitted to receive ammunition “and magazines”<\/em> only on the shooting range.<\/p>\n

8.5.2 – Loading and Unloading
\nAdded – “After starting in a competition, the bolt must remain closed while skiing and it is forbidden to open the bolt or remove a magazine from the stock or magazine-well except when stopped on the shooting mat.”<\/em><\/p>\n
