{"id":2385,"date":"2017-05-25T10:18:53","date_gmt":"2017-05-25T14:18:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/biathlon.nyssranordic.org\/?p=2385"},"modified":"2017-05-25T10:18:53","modified_gmt":"2017-05-25T14:18:53","slug":"junior-biathlon-shooting-clinic-on-june-11-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biathlon.nyssranordic.org\/?p=2385","title":{"rendered":"Junior Biathlon Shooting Clinic on June 11, 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The NYSSRA Nordic Biathlon Junior Development Committee is pleased to announce a junior biathlon shooting clinic at the Saratoga Biathlon Club.\u00a0 This FREE \u00bd day program will take place on the morning of <strong>Sunday, June 11<\/strong>. We will go over proper rifle fit, position &amp; technique.\u00a0 In addition, attendees will able to put their new skills into practice that afternoon by taking part in the running summer biathlon race scheduled that afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The target audience for the clinic is strong Nordic skiers between the ages 14-20, but exceptions will be considered on case by case basis.\u00a0 <strong>**Space at the clinics will be limited so please send an email to Sean Halligan at <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:Sean@Halliganci.com\"><strong>Sean@Halliganci.com<\/strong><\/a><strong> ASAP<\/strong> if you are interested.\u00a0 When doing so, please provide:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Name, email address, phone number &amp; parent info.<\/li>\n<li>Your experience levels with Nordic skiing and biathlon.<\/li>\n<li>If you have a biathlon rifle &amp;\/or have access to one that you can borrow.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>**Biathlon newcomers should reply ASAP as loner rifles will be limited!\u00a0 If you need a rifle, make sure you tell us if you are left or right handed!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please note that we will only be sending the program details to those people who express an interest in coming, <u>so if you are interested you have to let us know<\/u>!\u00a0 Tell us sooner than later, even if it is a \u201cmaybe\u201d so we can properly plan and keep you in the loop.<\/p>\n<p>Details for the summer biathlon races that weekend (Saturday &amp; Sunday) will be posted on the Saratoga Biathlon &amp; NYS Biathlon web sites.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The NYSSRA Nordic Biathlon Junior Development Committee is pleased to announce a junior biathlon shooting clinic at the Saratoga Biathlon Club.\u00a0 This FREE \u00bd day program will take place on the morning of Sunday, June 11.
