The NYSSRA Nordic planning meeting for the 2014-15 ski season has been scheduled for Sunday, Septmeber 28th.  The meeting will be held again at Serra Hall at Siena College in Loudonville, NY.  You are invited to join officers, club representatives and committee members at this meeting.  Committees (for biathlon, xc-racing, ski-o and Mid-A) will meet in the morning at 9:00am and the full association will be meeting in the afternoon.  The meeting will focus on decisions that will finalize schedules for the upcoming race season including the choice of which races will be part of this years  Wilkinson Cup, Information will be presented about the 2015 Empire State Games and 2015 NYSSRA Championship Weekend.   Other matters include the changes to the sanctioning agreement, Junior National Qualifying races, and the cross country committee’s consideration of proposals made for race seeding and grant allocation for club and skier support.  Additionally we will be discussing the addition of a NYSSRA Executive Director position to seek funding for NYSSRA and Club Support.  A lot will be discussed and we would love to have your input.

 

Please look at the map below to find the location of Serra Hall on the Siena College Campus.  Public Parking can be found in front of campus right off Route 9.  The meeting will be inside Serra Hall in the North wing.  Coffee, muffins and fruit will be offered in the morning and meeting attendees are able to purchase lunch in the dining hall for $5.00.  Otherwise you should plan to pack your own lunch.
