Good news, the races at the Saratoga Biathlon Club are officially on for this weekend. There will be a sprint race on Saturday, and a pursuit on Sunday. Pre-registration is available until 6:00 PM on Friday for both races. Day of race registration will also be available. The schedule for both days is as follows:
- Registration: 10:00 AM
- Zero: 11:00 AM
- Start: Noon

The Empire State Winter Games will be held in Lake Placid the following weekend. On Saturday there will be a sprint race (7.5 km for all (except Boys/ Girls 4.5 km). Sunday will feature a 3 X 6 km relay race. This is different than what was originally listed on the ESWG website. This change is due to the removal of targets from the Mt. Van Hoevenberg biathlon range. Competitors will be divided into three groups by speed after the sprint race. Each relay team will be made up of one skier from each speed group. You may form your own teams, or will be placed in a team by random draw. You must pre-register to compete in the Empire State Winter Games, the registration deadline is Tuesday January 29 at 4:00 PM.
