The first of two NYSSRA Biathlon Junior Development shooting clinics was held on Sunday 5/27 at the Saratoga Biathlon Club. The guest instructor was former Olympic Gold Medalist & US Biathlon head coach Algis Shalna. The 7 junior skiers in attendance included both experienced racers and newcomers. They all did great and learned a lot despite the hot day. Thank you Algis!
There is still room available for next Saturdays junior clinic in Old Forge and don’t forget about the summer biathlon (run & shoot) race the following day! Strong Nordic skiers between the ages of 13-20 interested in participating can email Sean Halligan at sxhhoops@yahoo.com. The clinic is FREE!!
