As another Winter Season passes, with many memorable moments….e.g. Patrick DeTraglia and Pat Clancy “shooting clean”, some ESGQs fully staffed and running flawlessly, with so many striving to excel in any and every aspect of the sport, we the competitors say BRAVO, THANK YOU, HERE HERE, HOOO RAY to the many volunteers-new and old who helped make the season so special.
From the chiefs of committees to staff to those who demonstrated instant flexibility to do anything for the event…we that athletes say thank you.
After many years of leading the Lake Placid Biathlon Club, Rick Costanza is steeping down as he and Mary move to VT. Rick received the NYB Volunteer of the yr award. We wish Rick all the very best in his next journey. And as Nick stated at the NYB champs, “we expect to see you on skis with a rifle in NY next year!”
Henri Hamel is also calling a time out from event management after many years working with her Husband, Carl Snow. Henri’s contributions have been many and are greatly appreciated. I know Henri will continue to garner much joy from her gardens and other home activities….again-Thank you to you and the many other NYB Volunteers
