Under the leadership of NY Biathlon, Nick Gretzinger and Carl Klossner, a sponsorship agreement has been finalized with Tippmann Paintball Manufacturers (http://www.tippmannpros.com). This partnership brings the exciting sport of paintball into the world of biathlon. XC running and paintball shooting. Currently there are more youth in the USA involved in paintball than football and baseball combined!!
Old Forge and Lake Placid acquired paintball biathlon equipment and have run successful youth and family paintball biathlon events. With the sponsorship agreement, all the NY Biathlon clubs have purchased Tippmann products for their family friendly paintball biathlon events. Tippmann will supply markers(guns) and advertising materials for NYB to use at its events. Plus NYB can obtain additional supplies to use /raffle at any major PBB events it holds.
