Under bright sky’s and an intense 91 degrees, the Syracuse Biathlon Club hosted a 5km, modified pursuit with four shooting stops and 1min start interval. 15 athletes participated in the event. The overall fastest time, and best shooting of the day, was by Doug Hoover, with a time of 29:12 with three misses. The top woman was Hillary Saucy, with a time of 36:00 and 6 misses. The event also attracted a number of first time biathlete’s, with Colin McDonough posting a quick time of 34:50.
