The NYSSRA Biathlon Development Committee is happy to announce that we will be holding a biathlon shooting clinic for junior skiers on Sunday, October 9. The clinic will be put on by Art Stegen & Sean Halligan at the Saratoga Biathlon Club starting at approximately noon after the conclusion of the Eastern Biathlon Festival summer biathlon race (running and shooting) being held that morning.
This will be a condensed version of the junior shooting clinics that we have put on in the past. It will be an excellent opportunity to learn (or re reinforce) some biathlon shooting basics as you move into your fall training for this winter.
As in the past, this clinic will be free to junior skiers who are members of NYSSRA Nordic. If you have not already joined or renewed your membership, you should do so now. If you’re interested in attending the clinic, please e-mail Sean Halligan at Sean@halliganci.com and we will put you on the mailing list for further details as we get closer to that date. If you need a loaner rifle, you should let us know immediately as supplies are limited!
