Despite busy HS XC running schedules for most of our NY junior racers these days, the NY Biathlon Junior Development Committee was able to coordinate some great training this past weekend at the Ethan Allen Firing Range in Jericho VT. Ashley Forshey, Brian Halligan, Matt Forshey, Seth Mares & Will Fieroh met with USBA Development coach Algis Shalna on Saturday evening to confirm rifle fits. They also took part in dry fire instruction & exercises. The next morning they were joined by Maddie Phaneuf at the range and were able to get in a full day of roller ski & shooting training with other top juniors from VT & NH. The weather was wonderful and the kids got a lot out of the training. They should all be ready to go this winter!
