Speaking of upcoming races…
1) This coming weekend all eyes are on Glens Falls! The Cole’s Woods trail system plays host to two big events on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is the Glens Falls Invitational and the 2nd leg of the 2014-15 Wilkinson Cup Series. This is always a huge race that attracts skiers young and old from across the state and is a freestyle race not to be missed. Sunday, HURT-nordic hosts the 2015 HURTathon ski race. This race is a 15/7.5/5K Classic race that will have you loving the new and improved trail system and grooming in the park.
2) The 24th and 25th of January are two of the busiest days on the NYSSRA calendar! RXCSF is hosting a great Bill Koch youth event in western New York that promises to have everyone excited…and Junior skiers and Master skiers alike will have their eyes on the prize in Lake Placid for the NYSEF Harry Eldridge weekend of races.
3) If east or west doesn’t suit you, check out the higley hustle or the rescheduled Cayuga classic race in Dreyden.
