Syracuse Biathlon Club will be hosting a race on Saturday, 1/17, at the Osceola Nordic Center. Race format will be a sprint format, 7.5km all classes, 3 loops, two shooting stops.
Online registration available through http://www.skireg.com/. $22 day of the race registration. Novice and Youth (<18) fee is $15. Note that you can register using skireg and pay the day of the event. Whether you pay online or day of, please register online – it’ll make it easier for you and us!
Note that if you are not a member of US Biathlon Association (USBA), you’ll have to pay an additional $10 for ‘membership for a day’. To join the USBA, visit the US Biathlon web site.
Beginners welcome! Just bring your skis and we’ll provide the rifle and training. Training will be at 9:15. This will walk you through safety and range procedures and give you a quick overview of how the race will work.
We will be offering a race on 2/21/14, more information to follow.
