After the weekend of racing in Lake Placid the final points totals have been calculated for the Junior National Trip, Eastern High School Championship trip, and the U16 championship. Please read below to get any information that is important for you.
2016 Mid-A Junior National Team: The final list of qualified athletes has been posted. If you have not seen it you may click here: 2016 Mid-A Team all qualified athletes are listed in RED. U16 athletes must have achieved a point average lower than 350.00 and U18/U20 lower than 300.00 to have qualified to make the team.
Athletes who are interested in competing in the 2016 U.S Junior National Championships March 6th-13th in Cable Wisconsin must E-mail Margaret (margm@nysef.org) and Jason (Jason@rochesternordicracing.com) no later than 8pm on February 7th to confirm participation.

The estimated trip cost is $1,880.00 per athlete (based on 20 athletes). This estimate does not include airfare. initial payment will be due to NYYSRA Nordic on February 15th. Once the final cost is determined, athletes should submit this payment to Lee Mahood, NYSSRA Nordic Treasurer, 4 Thomas Ave, Woodstock, VT, 05091. Please do not submit your payment until all athletes have confirmed their participation. Athletes will need to purchase airfare individually which allow use of points and rewards. This year we are asking that athletes arrive no later than 4pm Friday March 4th and depart no earlier than 10am Sunday March 13th. 2016 Eastern High School Championship Trip: The preliminary list of qualified athletes for this trip has been posted. If you have not seen it you may click here: 2016 Mid-A Team. All U16/U18 athletes who have achieved a point average lower than 450.00 have qualified to make the team. There is still opportunity to receive an invite for this trip by qualifying for the New York Public High School Championship Races on February 22nd and 23rd. A skireg link for registration will be posted at the culmination of the State Meet and athletes will have to register for the trip at that time. 2016 U16 Championship Team: The preliminary list of qualified athletes has been posted. If you have not seen it you may click here: 2016 Mid-A Team. All U16 athletes who have achieved a point average lower than 450.00 have qualified to make the team and are invited to attend the races in Maine. There is still opportunity to receive an invite for this trip by qualifying for the New York Public High School Championship Races on February 22nd and 23rd. Once the roster is filled with athletes who have qualified for this trip, the remainder of roster spots will be filled by additional interested athletes. A skireg link for registration will be posted at the culmination of the State Meet and athletes will have to register for the trip at that time.
