The NYSSRA Nordic Biathlon Junior Development Committee is pleased to announce 2 junior biathlon shooting clinics at the Saratoga Biathlon Club. These FREE ½ day programs will take place on the mornings of June 11-12. We will go over proper rifle fit, position & technique. In addition, attendees will able to put their new skills into practice that afternoon by taking part in the running summer biathlon races scheduled later on each day.
The target audience for the clinics are strong Nordic skiers between the ages 14-20, but exceptions will be considered on case by case basis. **Space at the clinics will be limited so please send an email to Sean Halligan at Sean@Halliganci.com ASAP if you are interested. When doing so, please provide:
- Name, email address & phone number.
- The day(s) you are interested in attending.
- Your experience levels with Nordic skiing and biathlon.
- If you have a biathlon rifle &/or have access to one you can borrow.
**Biathlon newcomers should reply ASAP as loner rifles will be limited! If you need a rifle, make sure you tell us if you are left or right handed!
Please note that we will only be sending the firm details for each program to those people who express an interest in coming, so if you are interested you have to let us know! Tell us sooner than later, even if it is a “maybe” so we can properly plan and keep you in the loop.
