Please note, this is not the end of our season. As High school students wrap up their season with Sectionals, there are plenty of opportunities to race, and improve their skiing. All readers who want a bit more time on snow this year should check out the last post– It is too late to join the games, but the season is far from over, from the Tourathon to the Hurtathon, to the Mini-marathon, NYSSRA Champs, there are plenty of races left.
ESWG Day 1: Just like last week, polar vortex snow proved cold and squeaky. Many hard working skiers pressed on as temperatures hovered just high enough above zero to legally hold the race.
The rose Family won the Day for Peru Nordic. Each winning their divisions with Chris being the fastest over 30, and Sean being the fastest Under 13.
Martin, Fragomeini, and Mannino took the U18 Mens Podium, Ralyea, DeGennaro, and Williams took the Womens U18.
Results are up on the web and will be sorted and scored this weekend.
