Mother Nature tried to wash out the 2nd day of the Syracuse/Polar Bear Pursuit Challenge Weekend but biathlon prevailed. A nice group turned out to tackle the McCauley Mountain course and determine the pursuit champion. Age group results are available at the link below but special recognition goes to Craig Wiggers who took the men’s championship! We did not have any women complete both races in the non-novice categories so that space will be be empty for this summer (Let’s go ladies!!). Big points were awarded over the weekend for the Syr/PB point series and the standings are getting interesting. Just two events remain with the Syracuse clinic/sprint on August 17th and a TBA format event on September 14th. Lots of biathlon left this summer so get out and take part!
