A brisk day for kicking off the NY Biathlon Championship weekend in Lake Placid. Temps in the low to mid teens, snow off & on and a nice breeze that picked up right at race start greeted the 26 competitors in today’s sprint event. Snow conditions were great for this time of year and a solid crew of volunteers made the event run flawlessly. The Champs will wrap up tomorrow with a pursuit format race starting at 10am at Mt.
