To all Biathletes, the Empire State Games in Biathlon has changed the weekend of competition. Originally the Biathlon races were going to be on Saturday, February 7th and Sunday, February 8th. Since the NorAm in Biathlon is scheduled for the following weekend, the ESG Biathlon races have been moved to run concurrently with the North American Biathlon Cup races.
The new schedule is as follows: Friday, February 13th, Sprint race, 8:30 bib pickup, 9:00 zero, 10:00 race start. NorAm racers start with ESG racers following immediately after; Saturday, February 14th, Individual Relay Race, 12:30 bib pickup, 1:00 zero and 2:00 race start.
Unlike past years, the race classes will run to match the recommended IBU classes.
