The NYSSRA Nordic Biathlon Junior Development Committee is pleased to announce a biathlon shooting clinic for junior skiers this spring. The target audience is strong Nordic skiers between the ages 14-19, but exceptions will be considered on case by case basis.
The first scheduled clinic this year is a FREE one day program dedicated to biathlon shooting at the Saratoga Biathlon Club on Sunday May 31st. We will go over proper rifle fit, position, technique & skills training with some light combination training & fun competitions. We are pleased to announce that we will again have Algis Shalna as a special guest instructor! Algis is a USBA developmental coach and an Olympic Biathlon gold medal winner!

- Name & email address & phone number.
- Experience levels with Nordic skiing and biathlon.
- If you have a biathlon rifle &/or have access to one you can borrow.
**Biathlon newcomers should reply ASAP as loner rifles are also limited! If you need a rifle, make sure you tell us if you are left or right handed! Left handed rifles may not be available.
Please note that we will only be sending the firm details for the clinic to those people who express an interest in coming, so if you are interested you have to let us know!
Also, we may be scheduling an additional clinic(s) this summer &/or fall so keep an eye on the web site.
