Calling all biathletes! On the weekend of August 27th and 28th, the Polar Bear Biathlon Club will be holding their first Annual Biathlon Weekend. On August 27th there will be a Sprint Race scheduled to start at 11 a.m. at McCauley Mountain. At 1:30 we will host a shoot off to find the best male and female shooters for the day. There will be a special award for this event. On Sunday we will host a modified pursuit starting at 11:00 a.m.
Anyone interested in participating in one, two or all three events can register on Skireg.com. Registration closes on August 25th for Saturday’s events and August 26th for Sunday’s event. There will be sport and competition classes in all races. The courses for the two days of racing will be located mostly on our Nordic Trails with some parts of the course traversing our Alpine area. We hope you will come and join us in a fun and exciting weekend!
