Time to register for the Summer Biathlon Extravaganza of the year! The middle of summer is upon us and we have a great weekend of racing in store for you! On Saturday, July 22nd Syracuse Biathlon Club will be hosting a biathlon sprint race at Pratt’s Falls just outside of Syracuse. On Sunday, July 23rd, Polar Biathlon Club will be hosting the second half of the weekend event. A 5 km modified pursuit with four shooting stops, prone-prone-standing-standing! Those who race at both events will receive a $5 reduction in entry fee at the Polar Bear Biathlon Race. Also, the fastest Male and Female that race both days will have their names engraved on the Syracuse/Polar Bear Plaque and posted every other year at either Syracuse or Old Forge!
Racers at McCauley Mount will receive the traditional home made Cookie as well as ribbons! The winners of each class will also receive a special local award! Registration for the Sunday race will be on Skireg.com. Early registration closes on Friday, July 21st! Don’t be left out, register for a great weekend on shooting and racing now!
