Just a quick announcement that the Polar Bear Biathlon Sprint Race scheduled for this weekend has been cancelled. After reviewing the registrations for the race the committee did not want people to drive in from out of the Old Forge Area to race against themselves. We do not like to cancel races but in this circumstance we want to be sure that our racers can experience a good healthy competition and not just a run through the woods, so to speak. Please consider coming to our Syracuse/Polar Bear Biathlon Challenge Races on July 14th and 15th. We will host the sprint portion of the race and Syracuse will host the Pursuit portion of the race. The fastest overall Male and Female will be declared the Challenge Winners for our summer challenge races! See you in July!
